I've been up in Washington State this paste week and it was pretty magnificent.
The people are nicer. The weather is damn near perfect.
The sun begins to set at about 9:30 p.m. The seafood is to die fore.
The sights are breath taking. The air is cool and fresh.
You don't have any worries besides maybe what book you want to read before sleepy time.

Seattle has a ridiculous amount of parks and this by far was one of my favorite. It is located right next to the water and there are abandoned gas tanks and pumps all over. It such a crazy contrast to see these enormous metal tanks standing on this magnificent green-green grass and people everywhere, playing volleyball, tight rope walking, picnicking, dancing, drinking smoking-its really bizarre for me but it seems so normal to them.

Carla and I wandered off from the space needles and came upon these beautiful buildings. It is the
Experience Music Project Building (named after the Jimi Hendrix song/album) and the metrolink runs through it (I also rode in that) but the greatest thing about this building was not its beautiful reflective surfaces or the striking resemblance to the Disney Music Hall (I think its the same architect but I have to do some research for that on) it was the fact that inside the building they were showing Jim Henson's
Fantastic Puppet Show!
I went to the Museum of Glass in Tacoma and they have this really great place called the Hot Spot.
In this auditorium/glass blowing studio the Museum's visiting artist is working on their pieces while the audience sits there and watches and asks questions.
We got to see this woman artists [i can't remember her name -___- ] but she makes these really great glass vase-looking things and in them she puts weeds that are considered dangerous to the environment or to be "watched". She creates their own little utopia.
